D of Physical Oceanography from North Carolina State University and Mrs. Hui Qiu, a Master of Biomedical Engineering and researcher from Duke University of USA, have established advanced technologies in research and development of hyaluronic acid (HA) and cosmetic products. The center has, compound, analysis and apparatus labs and purchase of advanced apparatus and equipment, e.g., high-performance liquid chromatograph, gas chromatograph, ultraviolet spectrophotometer, laminar scanner and high-pressure reaction vessel etc. There are 20 research and development personnel in the center (16 full time), including 1 doctore, 3 masters and others of university bachelor or higher. Average age of the staff is around 28. It ' s a scientific research team filled with vigor and energy.
